Sunday, July 13, 2025 Therapy Cat [Day 101]

It was good that there were no therapies this weekend since Seth is still recovering from surgery, He’s been in some pain so he stayed in bed most of the time. We were able to take him to the garden today for some Vitamin D. They will increase his Baclofen dose in the pump tomorrow.

Seth continues to WOW us everyday. Even though it’s just a whisper, he will tell us where he’s hurting. When Dave adjusted his head, he said, “Good job!” He recognizes people and pets. He responds to comments such as us saying, “Ben is in the cafeteria,” and he answered, “That’s not unusual.” He even asked to order a pizza and wanted to see his car. After I prayed with him over his cramping foot, I said “God’s got you,” in which he responded, “I know.” Even through the daily struggle, he is still polite and kind and witty.

We’re collecting birthday cards for Seth’s upcoming birthday on July 29! If you’d like to help make his day extra special, please send a card to the address below. For those that have sent him mail already, thank you! Every note, drawing, or kind word means the world as he continues his recovery.

  1. What a pretty kitty!

I’ve been away from your updates a long while, apparently. So happy that Hannah posted a link today. How exciting to come back here and read all of this miraculous progress!! And you’re in Colorado! This is all very encouraging. I’m so happy for you and Seth and the whole family. Hallelujah!!!

We are so encouraged by your progress. You truly are an example of perseverance in the most difficult of times. In one of our most difficult times, the song by Casting Crowns called “Just Be Held” was a message from heaven. One line spoke to my heart, “your world’s not falling apart, it’s falling into place.” Another, “You’re not alone, stop holding on and just be held.” Listen to it sometime and I hope that your spirit will be lifted again and again by being reminded “I’m painting beauty with the ashes. Your life is in My Hands.” God bless you and your family.

I’ve been unable to access the internet for a few days. I was so happy today when I was able to catch up on Seth’s progress…….one day at a time.
    Praying for continued healing 🙏
